Vision
Our mission is for students to be engaged with global issues that impact the world through a service-learning approach. Furthermore, our mission is to empower and develop future leaders who can identify a problem and create feasible solutions. Moreover, STEM occupations continue to lack minority representation. The new STEAM magnet will promote collaboration through an interdisciplinary curriculum and prepare the next generation of Latino/a and African American students in the south east Los Angeles region, who are confident in pursuing STEM careers with an ethnographic lens.
Our magnet vision is to prepare students to tackle future challenges and to develop as global citizens who are empathetic, critical and creative thinkers, and problem-solvers proficient in science, technology, engineering, the arts, math, and research via project-based learning and a service learning approach.
Congrats to Salutatorian Eric Barajas!!!
