Counseling Office

Welcome SEHS Jaguars! 

Our counseling office offers comprehensive counseling and services including team approaches to serve all students who need help in academic learning, college/career and social/emotional development.

All Academic Counselors, work with students, parents, teachers, and staff to facilitate an appropriate course of study for every student following the A-G and LAUSD graduation requirements. Our goal is to develop a plan to best equip students for life after high school.

LAUSD Graduation Requirements:

STUDENT REQUEST, click on service needed:

Before Submitting Work Permit Request Please read steps 1- 7. 

1. Download the work permit form by clicking on Work Permit Button. 

2. Fill out both forms.

3. Have employer fill out Employer section.

4. Return forms to counseling office for approval.

5. You will be notified when work permit has been approved

6. Student is responsible to fill out work permit completely including parent signature. 

7. Student must also maintain a 2.5 GPA and follow all Covid safety regulations. 

*Allow 48 to 72 hours for processing.

*Counselors will notify student when work permit is ready for pick up.
