The graduation ceremony for eligible Class of 2018 members is Thursday, June 7th at East Los Angeles College (ELAC) in the Weingart Stadium at the northwestern edge of the campus.

Parking is free and is available in all lots on the property of the campus.

The gates for entrance to the stadium open at 5:00 pm on the west and east sides of the southern side of the stadium.  No seating is permitted on the north side.

Seniors will report to the tunnel with their admittance card which has their label and school seal on it at 5:00 pm.  Further information will be provided to them during the rehearsal sessions on June 5, 6, and 7, 2018.

Students will receive 15 tickets a piece.  Children 7 and under do not require tickets.

Extra tickets, per the number that are available, will be distributed to students at the end of the June 7th school day.  School ends that day at 12:07 pm.  We will distribute tickets until they run out or no more are solicited.  The tickets are free of charge.

Please be advised that balloons are not allowed inside the stadium. Balloons obstruct the views of others so as a courtesy and consideration to all, please follow this request which is for the benefit of all.  Bear in mind that all present desire and deserve an unobstructed view of their child. Please keep them in your vehicles. These can be given to the graduate outside on the concourse where graduates and families meet up together after the ceremony has concluded.

Graduates will recess out in the same manner in which they processed in at the start of the ceremony.

For the safety and security of all, please do not take anything inside that poses any sort of danger or hazard to all present.  Los Angeles Unified School Police and the ELAC Sheriffs will be on hand that day to help ensure the wellbeing of all concerned.

The ceremony is estimated to last approximately 2 hours.  Thank you and welcome one and all to this worthy celebration of achievement and the start of a new chapter in the lives of the Class of 2018!

School Accountability Report Card (SARC)

Since 1988, every public school in California that receives state funding is required by law to publish a School Accountability Report Card (SARC) each year. The purpose of the SARC is to provide parents and the community with important information about each public school and for a school to report on its progress in achieving goals. Some of the items included in the SARC are: student performance, teacher misassignments, sufficiency of textbooks, condition of school facilities, and fiscal and expenditure data. The majority of the SARC displays information from the prior school year. The school contact information, facility conditions, teacher misassignments and vacancies, availability of textbooks and instructional materials, and the Federal Intervention Program sections display current school year data.
